Southeast Asian Coconut Shrimp Curry

Dig in to this Singaporean and Malaysian favorite that literally translates to "fragrant rice". Often heralded as the national dish of Malaysia, Nasi Lemak is a truly beloved creation from the region. Our version includes a rich, complex sambal shrimp for a sweet spiciness that is tempered perfectly by the coconut rice it's served with. For added texture and flavor, we've included tiny fried fish (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts and refreshing cucumber. Top it with a fried egg for added decadence; perfection.
